Vintage European Silver Shell Cameo Pin/Pendant w/Marcasites

From out of a nice estate collection of vintage/designer jewelry, this is a lovely old carved shell cameo prong set in silver and accented with tiny sparkling marcasites. This measures about 1 1/8" and has a safety clasp in good working order as well as a bale, so it can also be worn on a chain as a pendant...like getting TWO pieces for the price of ONE! The lovely lady in profile is depicted wearing a double strand of pearls. It is marked "300", but I think it is supposed to be "800" and part of the 8 is missing. This is in excellent vintage condition...a lovely old estate piece to add to your collection...ROMANTIC gift idea too!
