John Ridgway teapot c.1850

This John Ridgway teapot is decorated in the periods typical Rockingham style, with elaborate relief moulding of very thick, high quality porcelain & profuse gilded pattern.

Other factories such as H&R Daniel were making similarly sumptious & "high style" teawares & teasets during this period of the early years of Victorian England.

The teapot is part of a teaset (see the pictures), which is listed in our shop.

Pattern number 5/1802. c.1850.

Condition is very good with only a tight hairline to the Base, which seems to be primarily on the outside of the teapot.

A very striking item which looks incredible when displayed with the rest of the teaset.

Item ID: Ridgteapot
