this cute little guy is bright pink and is sporting a read heat. The tape, which is in good condition considering age, pulls out from under his tail. He measures approximately 2.5' long and 1.25" high. The pig is marked Japan on his underside and also on the end of the tape. This is a really nice vintage sewing collectible. This is such an adorable little pin cushion. I have had these with 2, 3, 4, 5, and even 6 of these Oriental men on the sides. This one is unique, in that there is one man across the top of the cushion. This pincushion is done in red satin or satin-like fabric, is divided into sections with satin thread and has this delightful man dressed in turquoise and sporting a braid at the top of his head. This is a very nice sewing collectible. The thimble is brass or brass-like metal and there is a cloisonne disk applied to the front done in red, white and blue. The disk contains part of a flag, an eagle, and a banner with 1776 - 1976 on it. The thimble measures approximately 7/8" tall and 3/4" in diameter. It is in very good condition. This adorable pin cushion is made of a light pink satin with pink, green and brown trim. It has an sweet little plastic kewpie doll held onto the center of the cushion with the same trim. Someone has put two gold-toned safety pins at three corners and a little pink bow at the other. The cushion has a heavy pink string bisecting its corners and middle.
