From an estate sale in Palm Beach we offer over 50 items in this set! the doll is a bisque head ,( not American Girl) soft body 16"doll, dressed in turn of the last century copy paperboy news cap and outfit. It is a newer issue doll, in excellent condition. The rarer American Girl ( with the plaid lining, now discontinued and sought after) wicker carry case(about 14"x9 1/2", not including the 2" handle) is filled with a huge abundance of accessories , and other toys, including a "Bitty Bear" with clothing for it, and a Christmas stocking for the bear. There are also "Bitty Bear" books and "Bitty Bear" pop up books, and a "Tiny Tomes" book 2" tall with 129 pages of teddy bears, real photos of them , and stories about teddies! Lots of other items made for Bitty Bear includes some of the following: a plastic birthday cake music box made by Hallmark which plays happy birthday, and a popping easter basket toy,toy plastic building blocks with darling images on them in ice cream colors, "Bitty " baby powder and lotion toys, lots of pairs of shoes for the doll, clothing for the adorable 5" stuffed and fuzzy "bitty bear" who is wearing a new headband and flowered embroidered bib, a new packet of Hallmark crayons, a baby blanket, bunny ears for the doll, new socks in package, assorted clothing for a doll and the bear. The wicker suitcase snaps shut, and has a nice lined and pocketed inside of baby colors fabric. The snaps are magnetized for little fingers to easily work. This is a ready to go gift to keep a child busy on a vacation or at a visit. Also this could be used for parts to go with your incomplete sets and dolls. Excellent, appears to be un-used condition. Doll clothing uses velcro so it is newer vintage.
