SOLD Magnificent Repousse Footed Jam or Mustard Jar by D & H

This is the most wonderful sterling silver mustard or jam jar! It is an intricately hand chased repousse design and sits on 4 little feet. The hinged top has a pretty finial and a place for a spoon. There is a cartouche that is monogrammed as shown. The inside is also pretty, and there may be the last of a gold wash on the inside. I'm not sure of this, but I think the mark indicates that this piece was made in 1875. It measures 4" and 3 3/4" tall. This piece is in excellent condition.
