This is the ultimate Victorian quad plate silver footed cake stand or brides basket! It features an interestingly detailed handle, engraved surface with flowers and leaved. The edge features a rope border and a pleated or ruffled trim that almost looks like fabric. What whimsical details! There is also a row of embossed decoration on the foot. This piece measures 10" across and 11" tall with the handle up (6" tall with the handle down). It is marked quadruple plate Mermod Jaccard St. Louis. This piece is in excellent condition with little if any plate loss.
