This is an amazing pair of English sterling silver apostle tongs. There is a figure of an apostle (my iconography is a bit fuzzy) at the top of each side and a little angel or cherub above each of the spoon shaped gold washed "business ends." These tongs are fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1890. The maker was John Round. There is also a registration mark. These tongs measure4 1/2" long and are in extremely good, unmonogrammed condition.
