This is a wonderful 5 3/4" long sterling silver novelty spoon. The handle features an intricately detailed fish on top of cat tails or reeds. The details are incredible! Note the attention paid to the scales, fins, eyes, tail, etc. He is slightly convex, giving him a 3-d quality. The back of the handle is almost as nicely done as the front. This spoon is marked for the H. H. Tammen Curio Co. of Denver. It is in excellent unmonogrammed condition and would be a delightful addition to any collection!
