This is a massive 12" long sterling silver soup ladle in the early Alhambra pattern by Whiting, first introduced in 1880. It is monogrammed G and in extremely good condition. As is other the case with early pieces, this one does not have the maker's mark. It is just marked sterling. This lovely large ladle would also be perfect for serving punch and would make quite a statement at your next party!
