Sterling silver souvenir forks are rare and highly sought after by serious collectors, and this one is a gem!
This 5 3/4" long sterling silver fork is a souvenir of California. The handle is crammed with images from the state on both the front and the back. The front has Eureka, State Capitol, state flag with the bear, poppy, redwood tree Wawona and the word California. The back has Cliff House, Carmel Mission 1770, Sutters Mill gold discovered 1848, and a bunch of grapes. This fork is marked for Mayer Bros and is in extremely good condition with bold and crisp 3-d details.
