This is the hard to find 8 3/4" Luncheon size plate by Johnson Bros in the beloved Olde English Countryside pattern. The scene depicts an old English village street with thatched cottages, flowers, two human figures, and a market cross at the end of the street. The hand engraved design is printed in brown with painted accents of rose, green, yellow & blue.

Marked on back: Olde English Countryside, made in England by Johnson Bros, A genuine hand engraving, all decoration under the glaze. detergent & acid resisting colour.

We have 10 available, all are in excellent condition, 1 has had a professional repair to the edge, well done, mentioned for accuracy.
