Presented for your consideration is a beautiful pair of clip earrings designed by A. Philippe and featuring wonderful faux moonstones and ruby red rhinestones set in solid sterling silver.

The back of each earring marked "TRIFARI" with the old type crown over the "T", "Pat. Pend", and Sterling.

The design patent is dated July 23, 1946 and is numbered 145,268. The owner of the patent is Trifari, Krussman & Fishel, Inc. and the inventor is listed as Alfred Philippe.

Measuring just over 1" long x .75" wide x .5" deep, these earrings feature gorgeous faux moonstone cabochons, tiny clear rhinestones and round cut ruby red colored rhinestones. The clips on the back of the earrings work perfectly.

Materials: Gold-plating over Sterling Silver, Clear and Red Rhinestones, Faux Moonstones.

Marks: Trifari with Crown, Pat Pend, Sterling (all).

Reference: Patent No. 145268.

Condition: Near excellent, slight wear to vermeil.
