The back of each earring marked "TRIFARI" with the old type crown over the "T" and "Pat. Pend".
The design patent was filed on Nov. 28, 1947, granted on Aug. 10, 1948 and is numbered 150,515. The owner of the patent is Trifari, Krussman & Fishel, Inc. and the inventor is listed as Alfred Philippe.
Measuring 1.2" long x .8" tall, these earrings feature gorgeous faux moonstone cabochons, tiny clear rhinestones and the patented Trifanium metal finish. The clips on the back of the earrings work perfectly.
Materials: Gold plated base metal, Rhinestones, Faux Moonstone Fruit Salads.
Marks: Trifari with Crown, Pat Pend (all); One earring also marked "23", the other marked "5".
