1939 Estate CORO Quivering Camellia Patent 116,711 by Adolph Katz

Presented for your consideration is a wonderful CORO Quivering Camellia Brooch. This is an extremely well-crafted piece which was designed by Adolph Katz. The patent shows his design and patent no. 116711 with a patent date of Sept. 19, 1939.

This pin features dark green enameling and beautiful round cut rhinestones in a setting of gold-plated metal. All stones are present and enamel is in very good condition with the exception of three spots on one of the leaves. The pin arm and locking clasp work perfectly. There is a slight bend in the pin arm which does not distract from the working ability or looks of the pin.

The trembler mechanism works perfectly- so well, in fact, that I had trouble taking a picture with no movement! This is a gorgeous and very collectible work of art measuring just over 2.5" tall x 2" wide x 1" deep.
