A pair of Nippon for your table or your collection, sweet pink roses are hand painted on a white background with lots of gilded accents, The design sports slightly scalloped edge decorated with gilt. Some wear to the handles from use as to be expected in an item this old, all else in very good condition. Marked Nippon, from the 1898 to 1920 era. Pieces were shot in the outside sunshine in bright daylight, but they sparkle inside as well. They have a very appealing slightly ridged blown out shape and slight waisted design accented with a solid gilt band with Moriage dots. Measurement: Creamer with handle is 11.5" around and 3" tall. 3.5" across the top including spout. 12" around the bulbous part including the very end of the handles. Sugar is 3" inches tall, 16" around, including handle and 5.25" tall with cover.15" around the bulbous part, including the ends of the handles.
