Hand Painted and highly desirable. Stunning Swan Pitcher with Jewels and Moriage reeds. Graceful swan taking flight decorates this lovely cream pitcher marked with the double TT, Takito mark. , lovely blue exterior with orange interior. The pattern is of a swan taking flight from the rushes and wild flowers along the banks of the river. The gold Moriage is heavily applied and brilliant, jewels adorn the top edge of the piece. Lovely lusterware finish inside . No cracks, chips or crazing. Quite a remarkable piece of Nippon considering the age. Pitcher is 4 1/2" tall by 3 1/2" in diameter. The item displays beautifully and is a complimentary piece to the plate services as well.
