The colors are rich and striking on this 6" porcelain nappy, pink roses tinged with coral, yellow rose tinged with coral and deep green leafs on a background of cream and light green. Gold accent leafs decorate the back edge of the rose design. Gilt outlines the rose stems and moriage dots out line ruffled edge. The nappy is 1 1/2" deep and has a pinwheel or spoke design to the inside. I think this Item is from 1921 to 1930. Some evidence of wear, the gilt handle is worn where the dish has been picked up over the years. The piece looks like an older piece, perfect for the gentile accent to your afternoon tea! Use for sachets in the bedroom, display in the living area anywhere. Very sweet item. Marked with the full wreath circle and the letters I.E. and a triangle in the wreath.
