R.S. Prussia Plate with Hydrangea Flowers and Gold Trim

Lovely soft colors adorn this 8 1/4" plate presented here for your consideration. A lovely mixture of decal and hand painted flowers. Soft, almost pastel colors form the background for the lovely hydrangea flowers in the center of the dish. All around the edge are beautiful dogwood flowers sprinkled with gold highlites. Gold trim dips around the slightly scalloped edge and trails down into the plate between the white dogwood flowers that decorate the rim. The pictures do not quite bring out the lovely colors, slight blue tint to center flowers on a creamy white background that changes to slightly deeper cream and yellow toward the rim. Soft as early spring and summer blooms can be. Just beautiful. Nice gift item, no breaks, chips or cracks. Buy this lovely plate for yourself or another and enjoy the early summer in mid winter. Back stamp is the red and green R.S. Prussia.
