Duck Plate with Transfer Design and Hand Painted Details

Just a startling flying duck figure, attempting a landing in the reeds of this calm, serene lake at sunset. The duck figure fills this 9 1/2" plate from side to side. The colors are vivid and full. A gilt edge out lines the main design and hand painted details finish the wing and neck of this striking bird. Nice item for the hunter or sportsman. Super addition to a wild bird collection. Some of the transfer stops short of the gilt edge, some roughness to the gilt itself. All in all, a nice plate to display with plenty of compliments. No chips or cracks, two areas on the back from a plate holder that was to tight.Missing a bit of the white. Not visible from the front when displayed. Marked AK over a D, signed in gilt on the back.
