Off white finish to this couple, detail to clothing and faces as the girl is holding a sheep and feeding it from the fruit offered by the young man as they sit barefoot on a tree stump or wall. Other fruits are at their feet. Marked with the crown over the large N, this figurine provides lots of interest to the observer. Her hair is up-swept into a bun and his hair is tied back as was the fashion of the time.
Made of porcelain, glazed all over, the man is holding a basket of fruit. No damage to fingers or hands, A thoughtful reminder of simpler times. Refreshing to contemplate in today's hectic world.
The figure measures 3 1/2" across the very bottom, 4 1/2" wide to the top of the ladies head.
Finish is creamy to the touch.
Two rough spots, one on the grapes in the basket the man holds, not visible, to the touch only, and one minor rough spot and slight indent on the very edge on the back of the item no doubt from being put back on a shelf.
