Bavaria Hand Painted Nappy

An unusual theme for a nappy, this beauty is resplendent with the colors of fall. Oak leaves are turning and the acorns are still on the tree, a pin oak by the looks of the leaves. Small daisies are blooming and the leaves are shades of green, rust, brown. The edge of the nappy is outlined in a gilt scroll, worn in some places as is the gold on the handle. The colors are rich and the design is overall pleasing to the eye. The plate seems to be hand painted, and it is signed by Alberli. Taken in the shade, the picture is very dark.
