Roses, roses, roses. Lovely roses on a green fading to light green background. Rich colors as only the early factories in Germany, Austria or Bavaria could produce them. A large 10" bowl , 2 3/4" tall with hand painted roses and daisies. The edge has a raised and beaded gilt border. Bowl is unmarked as to maker, but strongly resembles the work of the factories in the 1870's Many items were not marked with country of origin . Some wear to the gold visible in the pictures. The bottom is marked with the number 31 in gold. Note the elaborate mold, very indicative of German items.
