Bright and intact gold tone edging and moriage beaded rim add definition to the scalloped shape of the piece. The shades of the blossoms are lovely, the backdrop is one of a garden of flowers, with hollyhocks in bloom.A finely executed and enamel floral garland adorn the inner rim beneath a two toned gold border. We are offering this very beautiful 90-100 year old floral Nippon charger, 10" in diameter and brilliant with gold beads and gilt rim. Lovely shades of white and pink daisy type flowers are painted with a background of green leaves and shadows of forest trees. Buds as well as full bloom blossoms comprise the floral. We have two of these plates, a smaller one with yellow edge trim at 8" and a large, serving platter at 10" across. Full roses of yellow and lilac outlined in gold moriage make these plates stunning. Both match the large chocolate pot available in the shop(NP8405). The large plate is rimmed in gold moriage. Very nice plates for the collector. NO cracks, chips or crazing.
