A very durable rose pattern made by Hocking Glass to compete with milk glass items made by other companies. The pieces were usually kitchen bowls and reamers and matched Hocking Glass white and fired on color plates. The material was very durable and advertised not to chip of craze. I have 3 saucers from the Macbeth-Evans lovely Dogwood Pattern in Pink. The design is impressed on the reverse side of the plates and the edge is slightly scalloped. This pattern was made by Macbeth-Evans from 1929 to 1932 and is also known as Apple Blossom or Wild Rose. . Saucers are in remarkable condition, free from chips and cracks and no utensil marks. We have three sets of these cups and saucers in the nice, clean cut Victory pattern by Diamond Glass Company 1929-1932. The pink pattern is characterized by smooth horizontal lines radiating from a slightly "frosted" ring in the center to the slightly scalloped saucer edge. Beautiful Dogwood Pattern Depression Glass plates in Pink are offered here. I know I am always seeking to replace a broken item in my dishes, do you need plates?
