1860 English Blue and White Asiatic Pheasant Platter

A lovely, English Blue and White Transferware platter in the Asiatic Pheasant design. This platter is 14” by 11 1/4” and is in very nice condition. There is only one impressed mark on the underside and this is the number 12. This is one of the most popular pattern in the 1800, England and because of their lack of copywrite law, the pattern was used by many, at least 36, different potters in Staffordshire England during the Victorian Era.

This platter would have been part of a large dinner set. The condition is very good with no, cracks, repairs or chip. The platter could be used, added to a collection and displays beautifully.
