Beautiful English Rosewood Double Decanter Box

This is a beautiful English Rosewood decanter box with a lighter color timber (boxwood) used for stringing, and for the diamond inlay arrangement on the box's lid. 19th Century, possibly early. The decanter box contains two bottles with stoppers. One of the stoppers was damaged in shipping, but we've included it with the decanter. Please see the photos.

The timber used to make this beautiful decanter is in good condition. There is a small crack on the right edge of the box, and there are three nicks on the rear edges (see photos). The interior of the box is lined with a beautiful red velvet textile giving the interior a handsome appearance.

The key and working lock are included.

The box measures 6 1/5/16 in height; 8 13/16" wide; 5 1/2" deep. This is a beautiful double decanter Rosewood Box..
