English 1850's Boot Shoe Snuff Box

A very simple, English 19th century ‘Snuff’ box in the form of a boot shoe. The top slides back to revel the opening for the snuff to be stored. On the front of the high top type of boot there is a very polished piece of horn to add decoration to the wooden shoe. This snuff box has a great patina and has tiny copper nail heads on the underside to resemble the work of a cobbler.
