This is a gorgeous 19th Century English Victorian writing desk (or slope) made of mahogany with impressive brass corners.

The box opens to reveal a rich interior with a large writing surface that is covered with green leather. Beneath the leather writing area are two large compartments for the storage of paper and other writing materials . At the top of the writing slope are five smaller compartments, including compartments for pins, quills, pens, stamps and ink.

The writing slope measures 19 3/4" wide; 9 3/4" deep; 7" high.

This is a gorgeous writing slope, and would look wonderful on a desk in an office, or on a side board.
