This Bible is entitled "The Self-Interpreting Family Bible." The Bible is illustrated with a number of full page color drawings, and contains the Old and New Testaments. This Bible was authored by the Rev. John Brown, an 18th Century English minister. You will find marginal notes and a concordance developed by the Rev. Brown.
There are nine pages of forms for family registration, including the names of the parents, children, marriages, births, deaths, and friends. Only one is entry is found, and that is under father, "Stephen Roger Beresford," dated 6 Oct. 1958.
The Bible measures 13" by 10" and is 3 3/4" thick. Given the weight of the Bible, the binding is worn, but the pages are clean, with just a bit of foxing on the end pages. The spine has some nicks and cracks as you can see in the pictures.
This is a beautiful large sized 'family' Bible, and would make a wonderful gift for a friend, or an addition to your book collection.
