This is a beautiful, "Ladies Brassie"  wood golf club with original paint and varnish.  The words "Ladies Brassie" are impressed in the steel on the club's head.  Impressed on the wood of the head is the following:  Ladies SuperStroke BRASSIE Thos. This is a wonderful hand-crafted 19th or early 20th Century wood golf club which has a poured-lead back weight and black piece of horn, on the sole of the head.  The word TRUFLITE is impressed on the top of the head.  The face of the head is ribbed.  The wooden golf club, as did most wooden golf clubs of that era, has very large leather grips.  The grips are original and  are in excellent condition.  The shaft of this golf club is made of hickory wood, and is 40" long.

This is a wood spoon golf club with its original burnt-umber paint on the head and a hickory shaft.  The spoon golf club is equivalent to the modern 3 wood.  Typically, the head of spoon was large, this one is moderately sized, and in good condition and could be used.  The word 'spoon' is impressed in the steel on the head, and the words "Lone-Eagle" are impressed on the painted top surface of the head.   The shaft measures 38" long, and has a leather grip.
