Snow??!! Already??!! time to do your early holiday shopping for your friends, family and YOU!
In the prints the boy has a hat with a feather in it, lederhosen (or other detailed shorts), knee socks with ties at the top, black shoes, and a white puff sleeve shirt with vest. In one print, the vest is blue, in the other, it is red with a blue lining!
The pretty little blonde girl has a puff sleeve blouse, too, with a lace up corset front vest, a full pleated skirt with a floral print on it, AND CUTE knee high boots! She wears a floral head lei in each as well.
One print has the children gathering flowers (looks like red tulips he's holding), in the other they are feeding some white birds (notice the detail of the seeds! close up photos, please).
Each print is signed in script: Thelma (please see close up photos). There are tiny trios of flowers on each print, as well...they look like they've actually been rolled and glued in place! definetely 3-D, prettily hand done.
The prints are in wood frames that are painted ivory with a tiny wavey blue line around the edge. We are selling as is for authenticity's sake.
These also have logos on the back of each one...they have a girl in a southern belle holding a sign that says: "An Original by Treasure Masters", and they are numbered, the one with the birds is PF 2502-A, the flower one is PF 2502-B. They have tattered papered backs, and eyehooks on each side holding string that hangs the print.
The outside measurement of the frame is 7.5" x 8.5", the image size is 4.5" x 5.5". There is a little water mark along the bottom left corner of the floral print, the other is fine. Both frames are in typical vintage shabby chic condition.
We estimate these to be from the late 40's/early 50's at their youngest; they very possibly are quite a bit older. Priced for the set of two.
