Large Vintage Painted Wood & Wire Legged Bird Cage

Here's a pretty painted wood and wire bird cage for decoration, rather than an actual bird home. It is made of slim wood, 3/8" by 3/8", rounded dowels, and wire.

This does have a working door, it swings open, and can be latched shut.

It has a wire loop handle at the top, and a perch just below the "roof" line and inside the cupola. There is a little carved birdie on the perch, he came with the cage when we got it, so he'll stay in his home when he gets his new owner, too.

Measures 22.5" high, it is 8" deep and 14" wide.

The wood is painted white with a shabby, chippy appeal, and the wires have a rusty tinge to them.

We've seen this type of birdhouse with flowers in them, or hung in trees while its nice outside. We think its a great decorative look for a beach or summer cottage home, too.
