Wow.

Here's a way-cool wind-up tractor (AND YES! IT WORKS GREAT!) in a bright sunshine yellow and grassy green with black and white accents. It is made by the Marx company out of New York, New York which dominated toy manufacturing from the early 20's to the 40's and beyond (plastics came after 1948).

This little tiger is in fantastic vintage condition, especially considering its a TOY. There are minute scratches here and there, and a whisper of rust in a couple of places, (PLEASE SEE PICTURES!!) but overall, this is totally operative, great looking, and very very cool.

The details on it are a blast! They painted (stamped) the engine and gears, there are headlights painted on the front, and a hook, too, like so many REAL tractors have! (or had). They painted the seat, and added some foot pedals and gauges, and if you've ever ridden a TRACTOR, you can understand even better the detailing!

This is a GREAT toy tractor, made by one of the finest American toy makers. We recently received a kind email from someone who also owns one of these, and said that these tractors originally came with tracks! It did not drive on wheels, rather, the wheels had rubber tracks on them. (We thank them for their information!) However, it DOES still move on its own, slowly, but it does creep along!

Its an awesome collectible, and a cool remembrance of a time gone by.

BY THE WAY, the color of the green in the photos looks light in some shots...it is a true green green, or kelly green, not a soft sea green like some look.

We'll cover shipping to US destinations for this item.
