Vintage Enamled Flamingos & Palm Trees Florida Souvenir Plate

This is a great little souvenir plate from Florida with a high gloss black enamel finish and hand painted flamingos under palm trees near the water print!

The plate is about 6 and 7/8" across, it has a slightly raised rim (about 1/2" deep). There are two holes drilled through the top side of the plate, there is a simple string run through to hang it up.

Great colorway of red, ivory, two shades of green, a muted aqau-turquoise-esche blue with gray in the background; "Florida" looks like it may have been stamped or stenciled on; it is in a muted matte gold tone.

The colors suggest late 30's, early 40's perhaps, into the 50's, but not beyond that era. The enamel along the edge of the plate is rough in a couple of places, but overall it looks good, and is a GREAT piece of Florida souvenir-abilia!
