Here is a GREAT little ceramic lamp from the late 40's, only about 6.5" to the top of the base, with another 3.5" of neck. It is about 5" on each swirly side, the back is wider (about 5") than the opposite curvey end which is anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5" wide!

BTW, THIS IS FOR THE LAMP ONLY. THIS COMES WITHOUT A SHADE. We highly recommend Ikea or Target for simple, attractive and inexpensive lamp shades.

This has a push through switch, it works perfectly. Looks like it may have been rewired somewhat recently.

This is a fabulous lamp, no scratches, no chips, no cracks, although the bottom is a bit rough along the edges, it is nicely covered in dark brown felt. Very nice quality, good for a bedside lamp, or to read your favorite book by.

Pretty collectible, and very easily slips in with contemporary home or office design.
