This is SO fun!

here's a great little black and grey transistor radio by Truetone! It is AM/FM, Model #Mid-3016A07. It can run on a DC 6 Penlight battery, OR just use the handy-stored electric cord! Measures about 4.25" across the front, is not quite 8" tall, and is about 3" deep.

This has an extension antennae (out to 23", but does NOT rotate, like they designed later), and the COOLEST handle to carry your tunes with you! It also has the AM/FM switch on the side, as well as a headset hole...don't know if it works or not, but the rest is in such fine working condition, I would imagine it does...although there is no earplug or headset that comes with it.

It turns on and controls volume with a dial on the front, the tuning dial is on the front, too, in groovy turquoise for the FM side, and harvest gold for the AM!

It has 4 sturdy metal feet which also anchor the snap tabs that hold the back in place. The back flips open easily for battery placement, and has a "like new" cord holder conveniently attached inside!

This runs terrific...and at first it didn't seem very loud, but it was across the room and I had to go turn it down to concentrate! It won't blow your eardrums out, but it still has a decent sound and gets better reception than I expected. Besides which, it is SO cool looking!

Great little piece of radio history, fun collectible, GREAT decor for your retro bar or game room.
