Snow??!! Already??!! time to do your early holiday shopping for your friends, family and YOU!
These are about 6" high. The rim is 3.75" across. The base is about 3" across. They hold 4 ounces, which suggests that they were designed for white wine or champagne, rather than water, or red wine. These would be perfect to serve dessert wine, as well (or lemon drops, martinis, manhattens or cosmopolitans)!
The design is simple, yet elegant. Leaf-like, perhaps fish-like, yet abstract. We would guess-timate these as from the 1920's to 1930's, but very possibly could be much older.
The stems LOOK cut, although we did notice seams along them. There are no seams visible in the bowls, though.
Absolutely excellent condition, with no trace of chips or cracks. Would make a beautiful wedding or anniversary gift (we can wrap and ship to third parties, if interested, too).
Since we have not identified them (yet), we are pricing them low.
