Here is a wonderful Western Stoneware Company (of Illinois) hooked handle crock jug marked 2 with the maple leaf logo. The base is in the traditional stone color with the deep brown glaze top.

It is about 13" high, 8.5" across the bottom, and weighs 10 pounds.

It is completely sturdy and in amazing condition with no cracks or chips, it does have typical all-over crazing.

Great collectible jug; wonderful country decor piece, for the front porch, or to use as a conversation starter door stop ~
