Pretty Aqua Turquoise Blue Zig Zag Vintage Ceramic Planter Vase

This is a sweet robin's egg blue vintage planter stamped Made In Japan on the unglazed bottom. It is 5" high, 6" across the rim, 3 and 3/8" across the base. It has a cool zigzag design all around the outside for a wonderful textural look and feel.

The height and width of this are suitable as a planter, but it is also very pretty LOADED with fresh cut peonies or scads of daisies! The color is WONDERFUL paired with white, or sunny yellow, or dramatic with bright orange or olive green!

No chips in this pretty vessel, but there is a minor hairline crack on the INSIDE rim (DOES NOT go all the way through the planter) extending about 1" down from the rim. It can NOT be seen when its full of flowers, and is hardly noticable even when its NOT! but, its there, so we're making sure its known.

This has been in storage since the 1970's where it was acquired from an estate sale. The previous owners of it traveled widely and entertained lavishly. We are listing some other items from that same estate here at The Vintage Merchant site, as well.
