We are on our annual buying trip, so our next shipping dates are Dec 1, 2 & 3; after that we'll ship Jan 1. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
This is estimated to be from the late 1800's, early 1900's. It has tons of curls & swirls (curliques) in a heart shaped (some call this a peacock tail) back and shapely cabriole front legs.
This measures 39" high to the top of the back of the chair; it is 18" high to the front of the seat, 18" deep (off the wall); it is 22" wide across the widest part of the legs in the front; it is 20" wide across the widest part of the back of the chair.
The seat is strong and complete, the leg curls are all intact. This has the brace which is in excellent condition underneath the seat for extra sturdiness, as well.
We noticed there are two small and one larger curl(s) missing from the main back (please see all photos), and a couple more curls are in fragile yet attached condition. We assumed that would mean that the chair would be unstable, but we were wrong: it held a 200# gentleman (but we did ask him not to wiggle or lean back on it).
All of the legs are wrapped in cane, however, the back right leg is coming unwrapped, and there is a single layer off the left front leg, as well; we are leaving it as found for the new owner to treat as they wish. Again, please see all photos.
This is a lovely piece; it is not perfect, but it is full of personality and charm!

This weighs about 9 # withOUT any packaging.
We will happily ship via Greyhound for this piece, or Fedex, if you wish. Cost will depend on final destination, and if you choose to have us ship via bus, it will need to be picked up at your local (bus) station. Email us for details, if you wish. Serious inquirys only, please. International buyers, we can make arrangements for you, but please know that shipping will be crazy high, most likely. We charge ONLY for actual shipping and insurance, we do NOT charge a handling fee.
