Sweet Vintage Children's Metal High Chair with Jack 'n Jill Decal

This tiny chair was at a local sale the other night; one dealer said it is from the late 1940's/early 1950's, although another swore it is from an earlier time. We just found it to be charming!

It is a metal children's high chair, most likely designed for doll use. It is painted white (chipped here and there, please see all photos) with an adorable decal on the back of the seat of Jack and Jill in still bright primary colors of blue and yellow, with green and orange, with black for accents.

They are drawn in a charming cartoon style with "Campbell's Soup Kids" eyes, which are also reminiscent of the ever-popular kewpie dolls, as well.

This chair measures 18" to the top of the back (of the chair); it is 12" to the top of the seat itself. It measures 10" across the bottom of the legs going both across the front (wide), and to the back (deep).

There are three newer-ish bolts and nuts securing the back of the chair to the seat, please see underside pictures.
