Wow. Fabulous. A yearbook from 1935! The photographs in this are AMAZING! What style! Classic beauties, and handsome gentlemen!

This has the teacher's photos, of course, and it also lists their specialty, and their qualifications! There is some wonderfully simple graphic art, especially toward the front of the annual.

Then, there are the student's shots, of course. The seniors not only have their individual photos, but their participation in events such as chorus, track, student council, Cheer leader, and more! PLUS, there is a quote next to each senior, as well...such as Manney Mallette's "With a load of educated lumber in his head", or Myrle Hofman's "She puts her worries down in the bottom of her heart, sits on lid, and smiles." Looks like the Needle staff figured them out, rather than the student chosing the quotes themselves.

It has home room class pictures, and national honor society members, the casts for the school plays, and photos of the girls glee, boys glee, band and orchestra and sports teams. One of my favorites is "Boller's Buddies" with their photo, and their list of games and scores for each for the year!...they played Harlan, Avoca, Clarinda, Shenandoah, Red Oak, Villisca, Creston, Carroll and T. J. in 1934-35.

A wonderful collection of terrific photographs, this annual has a black fuzzy cover, velveteen maybe, and its seen better days, but the interior shots are all in very nice condition, GREAT to copy and use for invitations, party announcements, magnets, cards, or for scrap booking.
