This serving bowl is a delicious color combination of white with warm cocoa brown, rich olive & teal greens, a hint of chartreuse and kisses of deep magenta pink! Here is a great lustre ware bowl with a fabulous graphic of two colorful sleepy lovebirds perched in a sparse yet flowering (abstract) tree. The flowers are delightful five-pointed stars with a stamped circular line and dot design in their centers. This was made in Japan (stamped on the bottom). This is a beautiful Camelot inspired plate design of blue on white; it is called Spode's Ermine, Spode's Centurion, it is marked United States Design with a patent number (34384, or maybe 84384) as well as one for England (762367, looks like). The plate itself has 5/16" wide egg and dart rim. Inside that the pattern begins with a row of fleur de lis interspersed with squared & angled crosses. This is a double-handled bowl by Noritake, made in Japan. It has that fabulous luster blue in the bottom right corner, with a delightful hand painted bough of fruit! (apple? peach? we think apple!) This has a soft yellow and pink wash background, the fruit, flower and leaves are bright. The bowl has NO chips or cracks; the gold along the rim and handles has worn off a bit, though, indicating this was, in fact used in a previous life!
