Seller’s Note: This is a memorial card for Amy/Amie Manthorne Hodgson. She was buried in Seaside Cemetery, Seal Harbour, Guysborough, Nova Scotia, Canada 115 years ago. The online cemetery transcription has Amie listed with other Manthornes. The age [26 years] and the death dates [May 12, 1892] match. She is shown in those records as the wife of John H. Research has shown Amie was probably married to John Herman Hodgson.

Directions on back: “Mr. Hodgson, 3 in dark shell mat.” As I was writing this description I found a couple words running down the right side on the back. I can make out: “-ie Manthorne. Seal Harbour.

Condition: White paper on back. Card was probably in an album at one time.
