1957 American Character Betsy McCall Doll in B-62 Gown

This is a sweet 1957 American Character 8" hard plastic Betsy McCall Doll in her B-62 Cotillion Blue Belle Gown. She is just a perfectly beautiful doll with her dark hair contrasted with the blue gown. Her body is in clean beautiful excellent condition with no splits including a crotch split or hairlines at the knees. Actually, it does not appear that she has been played with if at all. I noticed that her head wiggles if she is shaken which is a common problem with Betsy McCall dolls. Her arms can intermittently hold a pose. The Cotillion Gown is in superb condition all clean and beautiful with no issues. Also it does not appear that she has been displayed either as she is so clean. Pink rosebuds are tucked within the ruching on the skirt. The taffeta underskirt and taffeta petticoat probably were once blue but due to the instability of the dye, the color now appears lavender. Please notice her beautiful vibrant facial paint. She also wears matching panties and elastic with rhinestone shoes that appear never to have been off her. The wig is in her original set with the skull cap in very good condition with no tears.She is so glamorous and crisp.
