This is a hard to find 1939 Alexander Composition Italian Boy using the Little Betty mold and measures 9 inches tall and is wearing a clean tagged ITALIAN original costume. A wonderful little doll, he has a short full black mohair wig, tight stringing, nice clean condition,no composition loss, original tagged ITALIAN costume, some light paint crazing to the face as you would expect, some paint loss to the eyes, blue cotton trousers with attached yellow cotton shirt, yarn fringe silk belt sash, and black top stitched side snap shoes. Interestingly, the sole of one foot is marked VII 3 1939 / New York/ Lillian/ Mr. Hansen. Obviously the person who once originally owned this doll. Very sweet and nice and in beautiful condition.
