This is a hard to find 1939 Alexander Composition Swedish Girl using the Little Betty mold and measures 9 inches tall and is wearing a tagged SWEDISH original costume. A wonderful little doll, she has a short full blonde mohair wig, tight stringing, no composition loss, very slight aging to the white flannel cap, appropriate paint crazing to the face, good clean condition, yellow cotton dress with striped cotton apron, floral print shoulder scarf, white cotton pantalettes, top stitched shoes and socks. She has many strands of hair that fall over her face. Interestingly, the sole of one foot is marked VII 3 1939 / New York/ Mrs. Hansen , and the other sole (in red) Hansen. Obviously the person who once originally owned this doll. Very sweet and nice and in beautiful condition.
