This is a 1955 Alexander Alexander-kins 8" hard plastic straight leg walker Doll #475 Wendy Bride wearing her gorgeous tagged white satin gown with train in clean and shiny beautiful condition. She has bisque like color complexion and body and a very sweet face. The straight leg walker mechanism works but intermittently with wiggly hips (very common among the walkers). The arm stringing is tight and the arms hold a pose. Please note her beautiful face paint, and triple stitched blonde wig with shiny set and curl. The satin gown is very clean and shiny (there is a light tan water mark to the end of the white satin ribbon tie in back). She also wears a clean white tulle chapel length veil (no breaks or holes) with lace Juliet cap (the elastic holding the veil cap to her head is stretched and snapped). Interestingly, the white taffeta half slip petticoat has some aging color migration from the lace at the back hem area with additional small spots to the left front side on the taffeta. The pink satin ballet slippers appear to never have been off her feet. A beautiful Bride!
