1953-54 Alexander Quiz-kin Doll in Orig.Box/Hang Tag

This is a pristine 1953-54 Alexander hard plastic 8" Quiz-kin Doll in her Original Box (this is the box she came to me in) and complete with her original Quiz-kin Hang Tag. She is mint, clean and crisp and has never been played with or displayed. Accordingly, she has wonderful facial coloring and very nice clear matte complexion. Quiz-kins have two buttons in their back to make the head nod yes or no as this doll does (working). Quick to note is her very shiny bright blonde hair in the gorgeous original set and curl, and her clear "fluttery" molded lash sleep eyes. If she had any faults, I would say that she has a microscopic smudge in the painting of her right eyebrow that may have been done at the factory (as seen through a loupe). The arms are tight and hold a pose. As for her crisp and clean tagged Alexander-kins blue and red floral cotton dress, it is over an attached one piece matching floral cotton panties and white organdy bodice (again all crisp and clean). She has top stitched fuzzy sole side snap white shoes. The box (Alexander-kins) base is fine but the lid has two connecting corner breaks with an adjoining break along a long edge about halfway across from closet storage wear. The box label has a sticker tear where there might have been a number digit and then the numbers "26". The doll is just lovely and stunning!
