C1950 Alexander Little Women Marme Doll Margaret Face

This is a C1950 very clean Alexander hard plastic Little Women Marme Doll with the Margaret Face mold and measures 15 inches tall. Marme is a head turning walker doll with the mechanism working fine. Please notice that she has the widespread fingers, She has tight joints with no cracks or hairlines to her body. The facial paint is beautiful with nice blush and almost matte complexion. The sleep eyes work fine with full lashes. She retains her period Marme hairstyle but the lower curls have separated. The cotton paint and taffeta costume is tagged MARME and is in beautiful clean condition with excellent construction (fortunately never been pressed). And it is apparent that the apron has not been pressed as well and does not have that shiny appearance. The pantaloons and attached half slip are clean and still white. The original shiny patten shoes have one bow missing and a cardboard heel is missing with some other scuffing to the cardboard. A lovely addition to your Little Women collection!
